Many people feel they have found paradise after visiting the Napili area of West Maui. It is especially true for newly married couples on their honeymoon in Maui. These same people come back year after year to experience the relaxed atmosphere of sun, sand and water. You can snorkel, swim, or just sit on the beach taking in the beautiful scenery. The island of Molokai is straight across from both Napili Bay and Kapalua Bay and is a perfect backdrop to amazing sunsets!
Kapalua, Napili, Kahana, and Honokowai, make up West Maui. They are home to many affordable condominium rentals and residences. Nearby shopping, activities, restaurants, and markets make these places ideal for a quiet, affordable getaway for families and newlyweds. The ocean is just steps away from most condominiums. Almost every evening you can watch a wedding being performed on the beach of Napili Bay.
Napili Bay Beach
If you want pure relaxation this is the area for you.You are away from the busy strip of hotels and condos in Kaanapali and Lahaina, but you are also close enough to drive there for many activities and dining choices. Kaanapali is only five miles south of Napili and Lahaina is about 10 miles south. The Napili/Kapalua area can also be a bit cooler than Lahaina, so is a great place to escape a bit of the heat.
Maui can be a busy place (especially around the Kihei areas in the south), but here in Napili you won't find a building taller than the tallest palm tree. If you have come here for relaxation or for your honeymoon in Maui, then the Napili Bay and Kapalua Bay area is for you. Come relax on their beaches.
